Winter Writing Cohort Week 3

​If your New Year's resolution is to write more and cultivate a literary community... this event is for you. A three week devotion to writing with a cohort with weekly sessions in our DUMBO studio.

Casual journalers, substackers and novelists... we're seeking for creatives of all stripes to gather in our space for a weekly co-creation session, supplemented with a writing channel.

In Person Sessions:
(Note: Each Session Must Be Booked Individually)

January 5th 6:30PM - 8:30 PM
January 12th 6:30PM - 8:30 PM
January 19th 6:30PM - 8:30 PM (This one)

Your participation includes:

​✔ Three in-studio sessions (writing intensive + discussion)
✔ Herbal tea provided, byo snacks
✔ Daily M–F text check-ins
✔ Ongoing text community that continues beyond the cohort
✔ Writing prompts + gentle accountability
✔ Substack resource sharing

​What to bring:

  • ​Notebook or laptop

  • ​Pen/pencil

  • ​Commitment to your creativity

  • ​Any work-in-progress (optional)

  • ​Feel free to bring in your own drinks or snacks (optional)

This cohort is intimate, so while you don't have to be a seasoned writer, you do have to be committed to your craft.

The way you show up in the space, the accountability to the group effects everyone's experience. The fee covers our ability to facilitate and your commitment to your own creative work. There are no refunds for cancellations.

About the Space:

Oyster Creative is a multi-disciplinary marketing studio by day, helping brands make waves with branding, web design and social content.

Oyster Creative's Bauhaus-style, DUMBO studio space content production, and events. In after hours, the space is used to unlock creativity in special events like this one.

​About Your Host:

Abbey Hudetz is a creative person and founder in Brooklyn, NY. When she is not working at Oyster Creative, writing is one of her creative and professional outlets. She writes for People Inc brands such as Travel + Leisure and her personal substack, Pulled Thread.
